Dear Prospective Conference Attendees:

It is just a few months away for another fast paced, information packed learning session(s). We have some excellent presenters who are very excited about attending, and they will be sharing a wealth of information and knowledge with all of us. This conference maintains the original “hallmark” that provides you the opportunity to meet your colleagues, interact and ask questions about your various office procedures, meet key people in the profession, learn the new rules and regulations, and get a refresher course on the old ones.

Ralph Brasure, Powerfaids/Jenzabar, Gail Waldrup, EMPOWER and Wood Mason, Department of Education will be joining us again during the conference and will have OPEN Lab all day on Tuesday and Wednesday for any questions or concerns that you may have.

This year we would like to welcome the Chief Academic Officers (CAOs) whom will be joining us on Monday and Tuesday of the conference then will break off into their own sessions for the rest of the week.

Bill Hay, Director of Financial Aid, Sinte Gleska University and his assistant Midas Gunhammer, Devin Wortman, Director of Financial Aid, Chief Dull Knife and Silas Perez, Financial Aid Assistant, Salish Kootenai College have been helping with the planning of the conference. They all do such a tremendous job of planning the agenda and bringing key people to us for excellent presentations. It is their dedication to this conference that allows us to learn so much from these sessions.

The KwaTaqNuk Resort will again be the Conference host hotel. A block of rooms have been set aside for the conference and if you have not made a reservation yet please feel free to call The KwaTaqNuk Resort at 406-883-3636 as soon as possible.

To continue hosting the workshop in the same manner as we have done in the past there is still the $150 registration fee. We will also still conduct the gift exchange, feel free to bring a gift from your college to share.
